"Heart x Algorhythm♪" Management Office (hereby referred to as "HAMO") thanks to all the creators who are willing to carry out their activities and creative and/or derivative works.

We welcome all creativities and/or derivative works of the"Heart x Algorhythm♪" may be shared on Sharing Platforms for non-commercial purposes.

This guideline is subject to change based on creators' requests and social conditions, and this guideline will apply immediately upon official creation is published.

In compliance with this guideline, prior permission from HAMO is not required.

We consider all derivative works to be active based on the "Heart x Algorhythm♪" and created by the ingenuity and ideas of our users. We will not exercise its rights to any work that falls under the category of derivative work if it’s in compliance with this guideline.

The guideline of the "Heart x Algorhythm♪" applies to the following derivative works.

• 1.Use of copyrighted characters of the "Heart x Algorhythm♪"
• 2.Use of copyrighted musical works of official music

Please check 1 from the"Terms of using Official Characters" and check 2 from the "Terms of using Official Music".

In this guideline, "derivative works" refers to the activity of adding new creative elements to the original content. Therefore, any direct imitation to the "Heart x Algorhythm♪" (or any similar act) does not constitute as derivative works, and any kind of these creativities are not applicable to this guideline.

*Examples of activities that do not constitute as derivative works

To add only simple arrangements to the images of the "Heart x Algorhythm♪" characters in the work, such as changing the colors, cropping, etc., and to publish such images.

Making unique arrangements to the images of the "Heart x Algorhythm♪" characters in this work and publishing such arrangements, etc.

When creating derivative works*1 based on content in which we do not exclusively own the copyright, or content that contains rights in which we do not exclusively own the copyright, it is the responsibility of the video creator to obtain permission from the rights holder, including whether the derivative work may be posted for profit*2.
*1 This includes, for example, submitting "Highlight clip video" created from "Me singing" or other videos that contain copyrighted works of others.
*2 Posting derivative works on a streaming platform in a manner that generates revenue through the "YouTube Partner Program" or the like.
In particular, please refrain from posting derivative works that use content for which we do not exclusively own the copyright as the original work for monetization purposes without the permission of the rights holder, as this may result in problems with the rights holder. This does not mean that we will allow monetization of derivative works of content for which we own the exclusive copyright.
In addition, if our office deems it necessary, we may request that the use of such content be discontinued.
These guidelines do not apply to videos*3 that can only be viewed by certain viewers, such as limited streaming videos posted on streaming platforms by us or official characters, or content such as videos of live music performances and events that we plan and host.

In the unlikely event that unauthorized reproduction *4 ofcontent is discovered, we will take strict action, including legal action.
*4 Including the posting of "Highlight clip video" using these videos or portions thereof.

HAMO allows anyone to use the "Heart x Algorhythm♪" characters for non-profit creativities. Pre-notification is not necessary for non-profit cases.

• • We do not grant permission for commercial use, regardless of whether it is by individuals or corporations.
• • Individuals or corporations who wish to create for commercial use or merchandise should contact the HAMO directly for permission.(algorithmfb@gmail.com)

When releasing your creativities of "Heart x Algorhythm♪", please always add on "Heart x Algorhythm♪" and the names of the characters.

Please refrain from creating derivative works that include the following expressions.

• • Any image distortion or other derogatory action in relation to the "Heart x Algorhythm♪".
• • Any international or negligent damage of social reputation to the author of "Heart x Algorhythm♪".
• • Any misleading use or likely to create a false impression as official products of "Heart x Algorhythm♪".
• • Any use that includes specific ideas, beliefs, religious or political content.
• • Any use that is offensive to public order and morals.
• • Any use that HAMO deems inappropriate.

*The copyright of all the related reproduction or alteration works of "Heart x Algorhythm♪" characters shall belong to HAMO.

Among the Creative Works, the music titles referred to the "Heart x Algorhythm♪" are eligible for creating derivative works such as cover songs and adapting for remixing. Any direct duplication to the "Heart x Algorhythm♪" or any simple arrangement does not constitute as derivative works, and any of these creativities are not applicable to this guideline.

Please refrain from extracting the vocal parts of the "Heart x Algorhythm♪" songs and use them as dialogues or any other purposes, this is against the contract with the artist.

All the derivative works followed by this guideline are allowed to upload on video platforms such as YouTube and music platforms such as SoundCloud.

However, the registration of these derivative works, including the registration of content IDs, etc., to a function that automatically identifies them as the copyrighted works of the user is prohibited.

You may also use the monetization functions provided by the sharing platform’s partner program.

When uploading Creative Works and/or Derivative Works on Sharing Platforms, the titles and original vocal of the Creative Works must legibly be displayed on the video or in the description section of Sharing Platforms.

Derivative works of the project for DJing

You may use "Heart x Algorhythm♪" music for DJing. In that case, when you use "Heart x Algorhythm♪" music on video sharing platforms such as YouTube, please understand that it may be detected by the content ID registered for the work.
When performing Derivative Works such as DJing or sharing it on the streaming platforms, the performers and/or uploaders must confirm the copyright royalty is paid to the Japanese Society for Rights of Authors, Composers and Publishers (JASRAC) and NexTone Inc. via the Sharing Platforms and/or the venues.
